Pastor
--Father Richard O'Rourke, M.S.C

What is M.S.C.?  Fr. Richard belongs to a Religious Order called Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, and the initials M.S.C. stand for the Latin translation of the name of this Order. So when Fr. Richard made his Religious Profession way back in pre-historic days, he became a member of that Order and so proudly adds those initials after his name.
The M.S.C Order is worldwide and divided into 19 Provinces in all continents of the world. Fr. Richard belongs to the Irish Province and ministers in the U.S.A. section of that Province. The Irish Province also looks after apostolates in South Africa, Venezuela, Ireland, England, Papua New Guinea and Russia. So far, Father has undertaken apostolates in Ireland, England, South Africa and now the United States. Please pray for him in your family prayers.

Associate Pastor--Father Gyo Jeong Joseph Lee, C.P.

We welcome Fr. Joseph to our Parish. He has assumed Associate Pastor duties as of August 29, 2010.
Please keep him in your daily prayers.

Currently, the Congregation of the Passion (Korean Province) is providing a missionary Priest to St. Paul Chong Hasang Parish on a rotating basis to minister to the Korean Parishioners, as well as the Parish-at-Large. The assignment is for a two-year period.  Fr. Joseph is the third Passionist Priest to serve St. Pauls since the program was put into effect.

Fr. Peter Shin, outgoing Associate Pastor, will remain in residence until the Parish Pilgrimage Group & Father Richard return in September, when he will return to South Korea and the Passionist Community there. In the meantime, he will be assisting Fr. Joseph in transitioning to his new duties. Please keep Fr. Peter in your daily prayers as well.
