The Altar Society consists of volunteers who attend to the care and maintenance of the interior decoration of the Church, under the direction of the Altar Society Coordinator. This includes the following:

• Maintain close coordination with the Pastor: meetings as required and annually before the seasons of Advent (preparation for Christmas) and Lent (preparation for Easter).

• Maintain an inventory and storage of all decorations and property used for liturgical purposes.

• Maintain the Altar Cloths and Sacred Vessels used by the Priest during Mass.

• Decorate the Altar and Church interior as appropriate for Sundays, Feast Days, Holy Days of Obligation, Penitential Services and administration of the Sacraments (includes installation/removal of banners, flowers, manger scenes, etc.).

• Maintain the Vestments worn by the Priests, Deacons and Acolytes during services.
